SwBase Nostro Automatic and Manual matching of the correspondents statements data with the counter value of book keeping records. Dynamically linked data of SwBase® Nostro can be extracted to MS Access, MS Excel, pdf or xml for further analysis. For the reporting of the branches and departments open records various tools realized like MS Word, Lotus-Notes, MS Exchange or WEB page based solutions.

Usage
Messages MT950 and MT940 received via the SWIFT interface are used as source data for the statements records. Counter balancing records are received from the core-banking application of the Bank. Statements received from other communication media can be entered manually. The matching of the items obtained from those sources and reporting of the open items is under the context of SwBase® Nostro.

Database Updates
SWIFT statements are extracted in SwiftII format from the currently used interface. The IT department of the bank copies book keepings data to the related FTP site SwBase® Nostro automatically process source data, realizes error trapping, update related tables and finishes the job by auto match process. Each separate account of the correspondents can have a separate auto matching criteria. Auto matching process realized one-to-one matching as per these rules.

Manual Activities   For Items not matched by the auto match process, various manual-matching tools can be used by the end-user (partial, GroupWise, many to many etc.). Matched records can be unmatched until the old matches are exported from the database. Old Matched records will be moved to the HISTORY. Only the items at the HISTORY status can be extracted from the database. Exported Items are moved digitally to MS Access files, which includes auto-search forms. This process eliminating Paper based archive will give the best facilities to the end user for the digital quest of old matching items.
