SwBase Messenger

SwBase Messenger provides your institution an easy way to create, verify, authorize and route all SWIFT messages. The product supports a web-base interface, full SWIFT standards validation of messages, and sophisticated rights management.

Benefits
Web based - requires absolutely no deployment at client site, therefore easy to maintain.

Integrates with SWIFT Alliance software to send – receive messages, ACK-NAK notifications, key files and BIC records.

Message Creation
Visual interface provides easy message input. Keysets and codewords are checked at each keypress to facilitate valid message entry. Templates can be created for reuse. Also, SWIFT archive can be used to recreate messages sent in the past.

Message Checking
Created messages are checked for all SWIFT validation rules including semantic validations, therefore minimizing chances of a NAK. Messages are checked against up-to-date BIC records and RMA key values. Advanced checking is also available including IBAN, reference format, and correspondent-based currency checking.

Message Flow
Message can be authorized in a number of steps as defined in user roles according to amount, message type, user. SWIFT acknowledged sent messages are routed to ACK queue, NAK’ed messages can be sent to ā€˜edit’ queue for reentry. Received messages can be automatically routed to branches / departments according to defined rules based on criteria like sender BIC, reference, MT. Manual routing is also provided.

Reporting
SWIFT aggregate traffic reports for easy reporting of sent / received messages per correspondent institution, currency, department filtered with various criteria including dates, currencies and message types. Custom reports can be provided for institution-specific needs. Also, all message operations are logged for auditing.
